He is\u00a0involved in research and teaching on research integrity and open science topics. He was\u00a0appointed as tenured Professor of Epidemiology in 1992 and served his university as its\u00a0rector between 2006 and 2013. Professor Bouter has supervised 78 PhD students, of\u00a0whom to date 17 were appointed as professor.
