Drawing on over two decades of leadership in university counseling, public health initiatives, and large-scale prevention programs, Dr. Brownson will present evidence-based strategies developed and implemented at UT Austin and across the 14 institutions of the University of Texas System. The conference will explore population-level approaches to mental health promotion, suicide prevention, substance use recovery, and well-being infrastructure \u2014 with attention to how these models influence academic engagement, institutional programs, student safety, mental health, and student academic success.
