USP Lecture ” Global order in the 21st Century: a new genocide in Armenia?”

Cátedra Erney Plessmann de Camargo convida toda a comunidade USP para a USP Lecture  Global order in the 21st Century: a new genocide in Armenia?“, que contará com a participação da juíza da Superior Court of California, Gassia Akparian e do titular da Cátedra, Luis Moreno Ocampo.
 
USP Lecture – Global order in the 21st Century: a new genocide in Armenia?

Judge Gassia Akparian, Judge of the Superior Court of California and Senior Advisor to the Center for Truth and Justice, will describe what happened to the Armenian ethnic group living in Nagorno-Karabak, the relationship with the 1915 Armenian Genocide and the efforts by the Center for Truth and Justice to promote the prevention and the punishment of the crimes committed.

She will be introduced by Paulo Nussenzveig, USP Research and Innovation Provost and by Luis Moreno Ocampo, first holder of Erney Plessmann de Camargo Chair at USP, and former Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court. They are participating in a USP project to apply methods of the Theoretical Physics and AI to model a complex “global order”.
